I've always loved Alice in Wonderland, and I can think of no one better equipped to direct it than Tim Burton. And can you think of a better Mad Hatter? I didn't think so. Pic from here.

It's bloody brilliant! Childlike vision couples with utter bizareness. Lewis Carrol and Tim Burton were made for one another. I am also hoping that one day Burton takes on the Phantom Tollbooth, which would make me squee with joy.
