All the kids are home, and the halls are quiet. My room is blissfully still and peaceful. I have a lot of work to do, but right this second, I am reveling in the solitude. It is nice.

I regularly get to school before almost everyone else . . . and you're right, that solitude is peaceful and necessary for the soul. We need that time alone, just for us, for our health, sanity, and spiritual well-being.
I hope you're enjoying your solitude today, and find it frequently.
